Longhorns Edge Iowa State By Slimmest Of Margins

A disappointing season for Iowa State took a heart-wrenching turn in prime-time Thursday night with a 31-30 loss to Texas.  The Longhorns scored the game-winning touchdown with 51 seconds left in the game at Jack Trice Stadium, dropping the Cyclones' record to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the Big 12.  Aaron Wimberly rushed for over 100 yards for the second straight game for Iowa State, picking up 117 yards and his first career rushing touchdown.  The Cyclones play at Texas Tech next Saturday.
