Next Fischer Hearing Set For December

A 51-year-old Sturgeon Bay man arrested on bail jumping charges during a sting operation will be back in Door County Court in December for a preliminary hearing. Frederick Fischer made his initial appearance on charges of felony bail jumping, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia yesterday.

Fischer was charged after officers running a sting operation aimed at nabbing people trying to have sexual contact with minors realized that Fischer was not to possess a computer under conditions set down after a case involving child pornography in 2008.
