Dolce works on 2014 city budget

Many local governments are working on budgets with 2014 less than three months away. WDOE's Tina Zboch interviewed Dunkirk Mayor AJ Dolce earlier this week about progress on the city's proposed 2014-15 budget. Unlike the previous budget, Dolce says he is not dealing with a major budget shortfall.

Dolce-Not dealing with major budget gap

Dolce says he recently met with city department heads and the process is proceeding "smoothly." He says it is still too early to tell whether an adjustment in the city tax rate will be needed. The budget is due October 15th.
