Diabetes Walk

The American Diabetes Associations movement to stop diabetes with community walks will be held locally in Kewanee on Saturday at Windmont Park.

The event is being sponsored by Ahearn and Associates and Regional Media and will run from 8:30 til noon tomorrow at Windmont and walkers will be able to make a donation Saturday morning in support of the cause.

Pre-registration is not necessary and with the American Diabetes Association in Springfield says Saturday’s walk in Kewanee is part of a larger overall effort…
