Third Suspect Caught in Cayuga County Break In

Cayuga County Sheriff's Deputies have made the third and final arrest in connection with a home burglary on McDonald Rdoad in the Town of Throop last July. A woman in her bedroom awoke to find unknown persons in her home and when she yelled, they bolted. 16-year-old Devin Shoults of Conquest and 27-year-old James Geer of Port Byron where arrested the day of the crime, and 27-year-old Tim Mack of Auburn was nabbed Wednesday of this week.

Mack was arraigned on Felony counts of Burglary, Grand Larceny, and Conspiracy, and sent off to the Cayuga County Jail. Shoults and Geer pleaded guilty to the break in this summer. Each were sentenced to eight years in prison.
