Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness

It's Breast Cancer Awareness month and doctors are urging Illinoisans to get regular check-ups. You are also being asked to join with the American Cancer Society for its upcoming 5K fundraising walk to be held at the Alton Riverfront Park on Saturday, October 19. It's an opportunity to start a team, join an existing team, or sign up to walk as an individual and help in the fight against cancer
American Cancer Society spokesman Jacqueline Allaria says registration starts at 8am.
