RogueTheateropens its new performance space later next month. Its new home is Sturgeon Bay’s historic train depot, located just off 3rd Avenue.

Rogue Theater’s co-founder Stuart Champeau says the group has performed in many locations across the Door Peninsula, since their inception in January 2013, but is happy to have a permanent home.

Champeau and fellow co-founder Lola DeVillers are asking for help from area residents. In keeping with the idea of community theater, Rogue is asking for assistance from their friends and neighbors to help complete interior construction.

Other items Champeau lists as necessity include things like lighting, seating, paint, and various fabrics. For more information on assisting with Rogue Theater, email the group at 1roguetheater@gmail.com or call (920)818-0816.

Both Champeau and DeVillers encourage community theater and music groups to reserve performance dates as they set their winter calendar.

The Depot PAC is scheduled to open November 21 with the comedy, “A Couple White Chicks Sitting Around Talking,” starring Lola DeVillers and Katie Lott Schnoor. That show runs November 21-23 and reprises November 29 through December 1.
