Governor Quinn Not Ready to Back ADM Tax Cuts

Governor Quinn isn’t backing a plan to give ADM 20-million-dollars to move its headquarters from Decatur to Chicago.  At least, not for now.  He says the only way he’ll get behind the deal is if lawmakers send him a bill on pension reform.  ADM is a multi-billion-dollar agribusiness company that’s been based in central Illinois for more than 40-years.  Company officials say they need to move to a larger city so they can be closer to their global partners.  They are looking to go to Chicago but officials admit the tax-break could be a factor in where they end up.
