Video Gaming Slow To Meet Revenue Forecasts

Estimating state and local tax revenue from video gambling in Illinois hasn't been easy. The state's nearly 44-million-dollar share of nearly two-point-three-billion dollars in wagering in the first year was less than half the low-end estimate. It's expected video gaming eventually should bring in up to 200-million dollars a year in state revenue.
