T-Bone injury accident near Piatt Castle

A passenger was injured in a T-Bone crash at the intersection of County Road 1 and State Route 245 Friday afternoon around three o'clock.

The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that William Hayman, 21, of 812 Heritage Court, Apt. 15, Bellefontaine, was driving a car southbound on 1 when he pulled into the path of an eastbound car operated by Mark Stafford, 49, of 4779 State Route 287, West Liberty.
A passenger in Hayman's vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
Neither driver was injured.
Hayman was cited for failure to yield. His car suffered disabling damage.
Stafford's vehicle had moderate damage.
The West Liberty Fire Department and Macochee Joint Ambulance District assisted at the scene.
