Bellefontaine senior Olivia Martin was crowned Homecoming Queen Friday night at Dodd Stadium.
Olivia was running against fellow seniors Hollie Stepp and Erin Levine.
The other attendants were freshman Shelby Raney, sophomore Evie Belcher, and junior Georgia Cooper. Senior Jessica Oppy led the two princesses.
The escorts for the girls included: Nick Heydinger, Cody Hullinger, John Kirby, Alex Richards, Jarrod Houchin, and Nick Burton.
Olivia was shocked that she won. She states that there was tough competition and she expected one of the other two girls to be crowned.
Last year's queen, Regan Price, could not be there to crown Olivia so Senior Class President Nick Heydinger stepped in for Regan.
All the girls were honored to be nominated. They wanted to thank the students for all their votes.
The homecoming dance will take place Saturday night at the high school. The theme for the dance is Shine Bright Like A Diamond.
Listen to sophomore Evie Belcher share her feelings about being named attendant.
Listen to senior Olivia Martin talk about how she felt after being crowned queen.
