New Hampton Inn Planned for Penn Yan

A new Hampton Inn has been approved to go up in Penn Yan. The Yates County Planning board approved a site plan by Chris Iversen for the hotel to go up on Mace Street. The hotel will house 72 rooms on three to four stories with a 100 space parking lot.
The neighboring former Sarrasin's restaurant will be up for sale. The hotel will have a pool and a breakfast area but no attached restaurant.
