Valtteri Filppula had the lone goal of the shootout as the Lightning capped a comeback to beat the Blackhawks 3-2 at United Center. Martin St. Louis and Teddy Purcell scored within two minutes of one another midway through the third to tie the game at two. Steven Stamkos assisted on each tally while Ben Bishop made 37 saves as the Bolts moved to 1-and-1. Patrick Kane and Brandon Saad each had their second goals of the year for Chicago. Corey Crawford stopped 14 shots for the 'Hawks, who fell to 1-0-and-1.
