Illinois Concealed-Carry Instructors Can Expect To Be Busy

Oct 6, 2013 11:20 AM

The nearly 900 approved concealed-carry instructors across the state could all be very busy soon.  They're the people getting the go-ahead from the Illinois State Police to train gun owners who apply for concealed-carry permits under a new state law.  John Jackson co-owns Capital City Army Supply in Springfield and is one of the 32 instructors currently approved in Sangamon County.  Jackson says he already has a waiting list of 200 people who want the training so they can carry a concealed weapon.
