Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a rash of late night burglaries at businesses in the village of Dundee. The forced break-ins happened overnight October 2nd and were discovered by business owners when they opened Thursday. Sheriff Ron Spike says two or the three businesses had safes ransacked. All together roughly 2 thousand dollars cash was taken from the 3 locations.
Other items taken included unissued NYS inspection stickers. Spike says they have strong signs that the same person or persons did all three break-ins. What's that thinking based on?

Deputies are also looking into recent burglaries in Starkey and a possible connection
