Pirates, Dodgers Move Closer To Advancing

The Pittsburgh Pirates and Los Angeles Dodgers are a step closer to meeting one another in the National League Championship Series.  The Pirates notched a 5-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals at home to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five National League Division Series on Sunday.  The Buccos can close it out on Monday at home with first pitch set for 2:07 p.m.  The Dodgers rolled to a 13-6 win over the Atlanta Braves in Los Angeles to grab a 2-1 lead in their NLDS matchup.  L.A. also has a chance to advance with a win in Game Four on Monday with first pitch slated for 8:37 p.m.  

The two American League Division Series will resume on Monday as well.  The early game features a crucial Game Three as the Detroit Tigers host the Oakland Athletics.  The series is tied at one game apiece with first pitch set for 12:07 p.m.  The Tampa Bay Rays will look to hold off elimination as they host the Boston Red Sox.  The Sox hold a 2-0 series lead with first pitch set for 5:07 p.m.
