Coles County Sheriff's Office Responds to a One Vehicle Incident

Coles County Sheriff's Office responded to a one vehicle incident on September 21st. 21-year-old Courtnye D. Moffett, of Charleston, was traveling westbound on Illinois Route 16 near County Road 2000 East when she feel asleep at the wheel, ultimately driving off the road, striking a sign, finally coming to rest in a ditch.
