The Sangamon County's sheriff's office and farm bureau are asking motorists to be aware of slow-moving vehicles during the fall harvest.
Sangamon County Undersheriff Jack Campbell says tractors, heavy trucks and combines are frequently traveling on county roads.
To stay safe, Campbell's office is reminding drivers to slow down when they see a farm vehicle or grain truck, and not to attempt to pass them on or near hills or curves. The sheriff's office says motorists must above all be patient.
