Packers Win Field Goal Fest Against Lions

The consecutive wins streak in the state of Wisconsin is now 23 after the Packers crushed the Lions 22-9 at Lambeau Field yesterday. Mason Crosby made a career high five field goals and tied a franchise record in the process. A perfect 5/5 day kicking included field goals of 26, 52, 53, 31 and 42 yards. His effort tied Chris Jacke (on two occasions) and Ryan Longwell in 2000 for the most field goals in a single game.

Aaron Rodgers connected with James Jones early in the fourth quarter on an 83 yard touchdown to break the game open. The win helped Coach Mike McCarthy to a (14-1) mark against the Lions and (7-1) after the bye week.

A new Lambeau Field record was set when 78,200 Packers fans poured into Lambeau Field for a beautiful afternoon of NFL action Sunday.
