Findley Lake man accused of hit and run crash in French Creek

An investigation into a hit and run accident in the town of French Creek has led to charges being placed against a Findley Lake man. 42-year-old Dayne Heimburg is accused of side-swiping another vehicle near the French Creek Tavern on the French Creek-Mina Road late Friday night. Heimburg is accused of fleeing the scene and not reporting the accident. After investigation, deputies were able to identify and locate Heimburg. He'll answer the charges in French Creek Town Court at a later date.
