Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes holds the first of three Empty Bowl dinners this week at the Our Lady Of Peace Parish Center in Geneva. The Empty Bowl Campaign here is now 7 years old and Executive Director Ellen Wayne says the focus remains on the 46 million Americans unsure about where the next meal is coming from. The bowls were crafted by local students, artisans and celebrities.

Next week on the 16th there is a meal at Sacred Heart Church, 90 Melrose in Auburn and then on the 24th the last supper is at St. Mary’s School in Canandaigua.

Each meal starts at 5pm. Tickets are 20-dollars for adults and 10-dollars for kids under 10.
