The Russells Point Police Department and Neighborhood Watch conducted a CPR training class at the municipal building recently.
Eight participants spent a day learning CPR so they can use it in a time of emergency.
Indian Lake EMS and Mary Rutan Hospital also assisted with the training and Indian Lake Schools and Spend-a-Day Marina participated.
A First Aid class will be held on October 26th and a self-defense class on November 23rd.
Registration for these classes is available at the Russells Point Municipal Building.
If enough interest is expressed another CPR class may be formed.
