Quinn Pens Letter To House Speaker John Boehner

Governor Quinn says it’s about time for the government shutdown to come to an end. He penned a letter to U.S. House Speaker John Boehner saying the shutdown is bad for Illinois’ economy.

Quinn says about 100 state workers have been given temporary layoff notices, thanks to the government shutdown.
