GOP Candidate For Governor Takes Message To Southern Illinois

GOPcandidate for Governor Bruce Rauner is courting Southern Illinois voters. He’ll spend much of next few weeks in the region, telling voters why he’s better than the other three Republican candidates running for the office.
Rauner says he has a plan to solve the state's pension crisis that will cut the unfunded liability in half without taking away any existing benefits. He’s a businessman from northern Illinois who’s never held a public office, but he says his chances of success are better than his competitors'. He’s facing a primary battle with State Treasurer Dan Rutherford and State senators Kirk Dillard and Bill Brady.
