2 area men will do some time in prison after pleading guilty to burglaries in Ogle County.
The 1st case involved 18-year old Todd Fransen of Stillman Valley. He pled to 4 counts of the felony offense of burglary and received a sentence of 3 years in the Department of Corrections.
The break-ins involved vehicles in Stillman Valley on May 10th of this year. Fransen was originally charged with 9 counts of burglary.
He was placed on the impact incarceration program and must also pay restitution to the victims and court costs.
The 2nd case involved 45-year old James Tarrant of Rockford who pled guilty to 3 counts of residential burglary.
The homes were located on North Meridian, East Brick, and Big Mound Roads in Ogle County.
Tarrant received a sentence of 6 years in prison and pay restitution in the amount of just under $3,000 along with court costs.
