Eligible Ontario County Property Owners Reminded to Sign Up For Basic Star Exemption

Less than 6 out of ten Ontario County property owners who are eligible for the Basic STAR property tax exemption have signed up this year.
Real Property Tax Services Director Robin Johnson says everyone needs to re-register because of a change in the law.

The County Treasurers office is working on a big sign up event for sometime in November. Deadline for sign up is December 31st
