Davenport Woman Convicted on Arson Charges

A 51 year old Davenport woman has been convicted on a charge of 2nd Degree Arson. Donna M. Jones of 508 Concord Avenue in Davenport was found guilty following a week long trial in Scott County Court. Jones was suspected of starting a fire back in May of 2012 that destroyed her home at 508 Concord Avenue and then filing a false insurance claim. Second Degree Arson is a Class C Felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison. Jones is currently free on bond while she awaits sentencing.
