IEMA Focuses on Cyber Security

Cyber security is the focus of the Illinois Emergency Management Agency?s preparedness campaign for the month of October. Cyber security includes backing up important data, having strong passwords, not opening suspicious emails, and teaching kids what to watch out for online.

It also means being safe when shopping over the internet, says IEMA spokesperson Patti Thompson.
