Updated: Lakers use second half comeback to overtake Chieftains – Tuesday junior high football finals

A few local junior high football teams were in action Tuesday.
The Indian Lake 8th grade defeated Bellefontaine 28-20.
After being down by 20 at the half, Indian Lake scored 28 unanswered points to win.
The 8th grade Lakers improve to 4-2 on the season.
The Benjamin Logan 7th grade lost to Urbana 48-26.
The Raiders totaled 350 yards of offense.
Jacob Geboy recorded 105 yards rushing, 70 yards receiving, and 2 touchdowns; Cole Jones had 100 yards passing; Ben Whitten scored 2 touchdowns while rushing for 70 yards; and Bryce Schmidt added 78 rushing yards.
Mitch Coleman had an interception, Dalton Rockhold recovered a fumble, and Danny Godwin recorded 5 solo tackles.
The Benjamin Logan 8th grade team fell to Urbana 20-14.
Bryden Penhorwood and Presten Cozad each rushed for a touchdown.
Derek Coy added a two-point conversion.
Grant Ward sparked the defense with an interception and Penhorwood had three sacks.
The Raiders will host Graham next week.
