Pipes Linked To Fire Threat

Iowa fire officials have a warning for homeowners about something called Yellow CSST.  The gas and propane pipe system is blamed for at least 17 fires in the De Moines area over the past three years.  Officials say if lightning strikes a home with Yellow CSST, or even hits near it, the electricity could travel through the piping and start a fire.  Anyone who has the product in their home is urged to consult with an electrician.
