Geneseo Farm Show

Farming as it was back in the first half of the 20th century was celebrated in mid September at the 52nd Annual Antique Engine and Tractor Association event north of Geneseo.

Unfortunately, the harvest was not quite ready at that time and the old fashioned methods of harvesting were not displayed.

Organizers of the event are announcing that they will hold the harvest phase of the event on Saturday and Sunday with free admission to the general public.

Corn shelling and plowing will also be demonstrated this weekend along with other field work and vendors will also be on site.

The event will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 7am til 5pm both days and is again free of charge.

The working farm show is located on Illinois Route 92 eight miles north of Geneseo.
