Clinton Rotary Uses Apple N' Pork As Year's Biggest Fundraiser

TheClintonRotary Club served up over 1000 pounds of pulled pork at the 45th Annual Apple & Pork Festival.
The club is a world-wide service organization located in over 200 countries. Phil Lamkin, with the Clinton Rotary,says they are dedicated to helping locally through food pantries, the YMCA and local kids groups.
The Apple & Pork is the biggest fundraiser to support their general projects throughout the year. Lamkins they sell between 4-thousand and 42-hundred sandwiches each year. Thrushwood Farms from Galesburg has provided the meat over the last 3 years. The company came recommendation of Terry Ferguson.
Anyone can join the Clinton Rotary Club as they are always interested in new members. They meet Tuesdays at noon at the American Legion in Clinton.
