Delay in concealed carry permits in Illinois

People who want to carry guns in public can start applying for permits in January, but the permits won’t likely be issued until April. That’s a couple weeks behind the originally scheduled March date. Gun shop owner and concealed carry trainer Ron Darnall says the Illinois State Police are running behind on putting a training curriculum in place. Classes are expected to begin in the next few weeks.
