Davenport Municipal Primary Election Results

Bill Boom will face off with Carlton Wills in Davenport's 3rd Ward election this November. The incumbent Mr. Boom and Mr. Wills each garnered 46% of the votes cast in the Ward Primary on Tuesday while third challenger Andrew King managed only 6% of the vote. In the race for Alderman at Large the two incumbents Gene Meeker and Jason Gordon will have the chance for re-election when the face off against challengers Dale G. Gilmour and Kevin Perkins. Cheryl Draegher finished in 5th place 5% back of the 4th place finisher Mr. Perkins. All the winners will now move on to the General Election on November 5th. Just over 2% of Davenport voters took part in the Davenport Municipal Primary.
