The Logan County Fair Board considered Wednesday recommendations the sales committee made regarding the fair's sale.
The committee had met with several buyers and heard about an issue that occurred during the sale. Kids or one of their family members were approaching buyers while they were bidding to get their bids raised. The committee felt that this action was not appropriate and proposed a penalty for kids caught approaching bidders during the sale. The penalty could be a $50 fine.
The committee also reported that the buyers were generally happy with the sale. They especially liked how the paying and recognition processes were handled.
The board also discussed the fair's website. The board is looking to upgrade the current website and make it more user-friendly. The board is consulting with a couple groups about options for the website.
Board President Skip Jackson comments on the website and recommendations.
The Logan County Fair Board will meet again on November 13th at 7:30 pm.
