Illinois Man Dies In Farming Accident

An east-central Illinois farmer has died in a farm accident.
The Champaign County coroner says 47-year-old Vaughn Borchers of Gilman died Tuesday evening. Authorities say Borchers was fatally injured when he was pulled into the corn head of his combine. Gilman is in Iroquois County, about 50 miles north Champaign on Interstate 57.
The coroner says an autopsy isn't planned.
