Milton School Open House

The owners of the Old Milton Schoolhouse in Alton are hosting their first open house for the public tomorrow. From noon - 4pm, you can explore the ground and first floor of the north wing. In that area are the business studios, artists and entrepreneurs. There are also two classrooms in their natural state, just before they undergo renovation this winter to create three new artist/entrepreneur studios.

Co-owner Meredith Elston says they hope to expand their offerings to more businesses in the coming year.

There will also be guided tours of parts of the building that won't be open for the self-guided portion of the day.
