Panthers Roll Past Governors; Homecoming Game Next

The Eastern Illinois Panthers traveled to Clarksville, Tennessee to take on the Austin Peay Governors in their first home game Thursday night. This was the first game for Eastern since September 28th when they hosted Eastern Kentucky, because it was their bye week last week. It did not take long for the Panthers to score first, as Taylor Duncan rushed in for the first touchdown shortly after kickoff. Towards the end of the first quarter, Erik Lora caught a 35 yard touchdown pass from Jimmy Garoppolo to become the all-time leader in receiving yards in EIU history.
