On Our Daily Show, Patrick King discusses his campaign to retain his Madison County circuit judge seat. Appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court in February 2025 after Judge Steve Stobbs retired, King explains that he presides in the civil law division, hearing lawsuits involving more than $50,000 and overseeing motions, hearings and jury trials when cases do not settle.

King talks about public service, impartiality and how the courthouse serves the community, and encourages voters to take part in local elections. He also discusses meeting voters in person and points to his campaign website and social media for information about his background. The interview mentions early voting and Election Day as part of the campaign discussion.
