Carver’s BBQ Bottles a 30-Year Family Sauce Recipe; Peachy Paws Plans Dog BARK-or-TREAT

On Our Daily Show, Jeff Carver and his mother, Betty, share how a family barbecue sauce recipe developed over more than 30 years became a bottled product. Carver describes the recipe’s roots in his family’s cooking, the first production run and plans to sell bottles through Carver’s Barbecue in Godfrey and online. He also reflects on the restaurant’s history and catering business.

Peachy Paws owner Amber Pogue joins the program with Goose to discuss the business’s free BARK-or-TREAT event for dogs in Godfrey. The indoor gathering is planned to include treat tables, a photo booth, local vendors and raffles, including a costume contest. Pogue also talks about Peachy Paws’ grooming, daycare and training services and its approach to small-group daycare and one-on-one grooming.
