Cambridge House Trunk or Treat, Alton Halloween Parade and Greater Godfrey Democrats

Our Daily Show covers three Riverbend topics: Cambridge House of Maryville’s community Trunk or Treat, preparations for Alton’s long-running Halloween parade, and the Greater Godfrey Democrats’ local organization and public meetings. Angie Hillis and Greg Jovi discuss supportive living for older adults, including services, Medicaid options and resident activities. Their Trunk or Treat is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Maryville.

Steve Schwartz & Greg Erler of the East End Improvement Association discusses the parade’s staging, route, float judging and safety measures, as well as the association’s volunteer work. The show also speaks with Craig Rathgeb about the Greater Godfrey Democrats, which represents Godfrey and part of Fosterburg, holds monthly meetings open to the public and conducts community outreach.
