RBGA Cuts Ribbon for Bethalto McDonald's

The Riverbend Growth Association (RBGA) celebrated the complete remodeling of the McDonald’s Bethalto restaurant with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday October 4th. Prominent Alton businessman Dick Bold, his wife Susan and daughters Mindy and Molly, as well as restaurant General Manager Mark Harlan celebrated the event with Growth Association President Monica Bristow, Director of Member Services Trish Holmes, Bethalto Mayor Alan Winslow, multiple RBGA Ambassadors, employees, family friends and customers. Dick Bold said the restaurant’s new décor package is called ‘Craft’ and that the new interior uses reclaimed wood in some of its furniture and decorations. Besides the beautiful new look, the remodeled restaurant also features technical advancements meant to increase the convenience of eating in the restaurant or getting food to go.  Inside the restaurant are two kiosks that allow a customer to choose and pay for their meal and then wait to hear their number called.  He also described a newly designed mobile application for both Android and Apple devices that allows order from your mobile device and pick up your meal at the window or park in one of two designated parking spaces where the food would be brought to your car.  The patio’s been completely redone and offers a stylish place to eat outside. The clean, smartly designed and decorated restaurant is appealing both inside and out.
