Bethalto Church of God’s free Candypolooza brings families together for fall fun

On Our Daily Show, executive pastor Ben Ratchford of Bethalto Church of God discusses Candypolooza, the church’s free fall event for families in Bethalto. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with candy, carnival rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo, face painting, games, snacks and axe throwing. The church says activities are free and intended for all ages, with a fun, non-scary alternative to Halloween festivities.

Ben also talks about the church’s focus on supporting families and building community. Bethalto Church of God holds Sunday services at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. and Wednesday evening groups at 6:30 p.m.; more information is available at bcog.cc.
