CASA of Southwestern Illinois seeks volunteers, board members and donations to support children

CASA of Southwestern Illinois helps children affected by abuse or neglect who are involved in the court system in St. Clair, Madison, Monroe, Randolph and Bond counties. In this Our Daily Show conversation, retired Judge Elizabeth Levy explains how trained volunteers provide children with a steady adult advocate and share information with the court about their needs and well-being.

The discussion covers volunteer training, board service and ways to donate, as well as CASA’s fundraising gala planned for April 17 at the St. Clair County Country Club. Elizabeth says the organization serves nearly 800 children and is seeking support to sustain its work. Prospective volunteers and board members can contact CASA at 618-234-4278 or find information on the CASA of Southwestern Illinois website.
