St. Louis Regional Airport Fly-In Preview: Aircraft, Car Show and Free Young Eagles Flights

St. Louis Regional Airport Director Danny Adams previews the airport’s weekend fly-in, running Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Expected attractions include general aviation aircraft, a modern Spirit of St. Louis aircraft, a possible Illinois Air National Guard Black Hawk helicopter and medical helicopters, subject to operational schedules.

Saturday’s activities include a Speed Demons Car Club show, while Sunday features the Bethalto Farmers Market’s final event of the season. Both days are set to include food trucks, vendors and a free Kids Zone. Children ages 8 to 17 can preregister through EAA Chapter 864 for a limited number of free Young Eagles introductory flights on Sunday.
