Wood River’s She Means Business Event and True North Boutique & Med Spa Opening

Wood River Business Alliance representative Kristen Burns and Mandy Clark of True North Boutique and Med Spa discuss the boutique’s opening and a celebration of women-owned businesses in downtown Wood River. The October 24 She Means Business event is planned to include a ribbon cutting, a business crawl, music, food, door prizes and a grand-prize raffle. Clark describes the boutique’s size-inclusive clothing and planned med spa services.

The event is also expected to collect donations for the Child Advocacy Center and share information from Oasis. Burns outlines other October happenings, including the Cruise and Q car cruise and barbecue festival, downtown trick-or-treat and the Business Alliance golf outing at Belk Park. The conversation highlights local businesses and efforts to support downtown Wood River.
