Cost: $99 We'll visit the town of Arrow Rock, which has been designated a National Historic Landmark, where we'll begin with a visit to the old-time Country Store, the town's tiny post office, and the interesting period shops on Main Street, better known to locals as “The Boardwalk,” followed by a delicious lunch at the J. Huston Tavern which has been serving meals to travelers along the Santa Fe Trail since 1834. The tavern is the oldest continuously serving restaurant west of the Mississippi River having marked 180 years of continuous service to the public. Then it's on to the Lyceum Theatre, Missouri's oldest professional regional theatre, to see the musical, Ring of Fire, the story of Johnny Cash. Bus leaves at 7:30am from Alton Square Mall.
