Friday, March 6, 2015 8:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M. SIUE Main Campus - Founders Hall 4 PDUs
Dr. Tim Jacks of the SIUE Computer Science and Information Systems Department will lead this workshop on addressing the impacts of cyber security to projects in the workplace. The workshop will discuss these questions: What does a cyber-attack do to re-prioritize projects? What part of the business is most important? Do I treat all information the same? As part of the risk management process, is everything worthy of protecting or defending? What are the levels of priorities? How do we identify business cost vs. value chain? What’s the risk of getting in and what’s the cost of that risk? How do we conduct risk assessment vs. risk management?
