The Treehouse Wildlife Center help with a project that needs volunteers- a few hours whacking down some very large bush honeysuckle to make way for more space for the center. By eliminating this invasive bush we are helping to maintain an ecological balance and increase biodiversity at Treehouse.
Where: Treehouse Wildlife Center -see website for directions (www. treehousewildlifecenter.com) When:Saturday January 14, 2017 from 12-4pm Who: anyone who wants to volunteer, scouts, master gardeners, master naturalists, tell your friends: There is a lot of work to do so everyone is welcome! What: Bring water bottle (we will be able to refill on site), clippers, pruners, saws, chainsaws, gloves, wear weather related clothing- some gloves and clippers will be on-site.
IF the weather is EXTREMELY bad (snow storm, flooding) please check back for cancellation information-
If you can't do physical work, we could use some people to take pictures, refill water, give out snacks, and other possible projects.
