Patricia Barnd

Patricia N. Barnd, 85, passed away at 11:00 am, Saturday August 12, 2017 at Integrity Heath Care of Godfrey.

She was born in Houston, TX the daughter of the late Olin and Katherine (Evans) Neighbors.On March 10, 1951, she married Kenneth Eugene Barnd. He preceded her in death in 2015.Patricia worked for over 30 years as a secretary at 1^st Presbyterian Church in Alton.  She enjoyed volunteering her time at the 5 A’s whenever she could.  She had a love for all animals.She is survived by a son Kenneth Edwin (Rebecca) Barnd of Nashville TN.In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister Judith Kracht.In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am Wednesday August 23, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church in Alton, IL with Rev David Crowley officiating.Burial will follow at White Hall Cemetery.Memorials may be directed to the 5 A’s.Online condolences and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com
